Students of different ages will be able to experience a variety of art-making techniques.
Aged 3 to 4 – One of the main focus for students in this youngest age group is to create compositions. They will form compositions and pre-cuts according to the colors thay choose. This will allow the child to experience the motion of applying stroke of colours and at the same time, allowing him or her to recognize basic shapes that can be used to construct an image.
Aged 5 to 6 – Students will be exposed to drawing, creating compositions and painting. Students of this age group will be introduced to the aesthetic world of painting and will be taught the correct way of using brushes, as well as colours.
Age 7 to 8 – Students will be taught watercolour techniques for landscapes. Students will be able to paint what they see in their everyday lives! Watercolour techniques are advanced skills and requires a huge amount of patience. Students will not only be able to be proud owners of their artworks but also realize that being meticulous counts in Art!
Age 9 to 12 – Students will be doing landscape canvas painting with acrylic paint! A variety of acrylic landscape samples will be provided for the students to choose from. The difficulty level of the painting will be determined by the ability of the student. (To note: All artworks done on watercolour paper or drawing paper will be nicely mounted and presented.)
